Internet Tiles

A weird little internet project, a collaborative collage of the current state of the web.

Claim a tile on the 200×200 map of the internet, upload your art or animated GIF, link your site, and become part of the grid.

Problem: The modern web is dominated by big platforms and algorithms. Indie creators, artists, and side projects struggle to get a simple, permanent, ownable presence without building a full site, paying monthly hosting, or fighting for visibility in noisy feeds. Most "personal space" online is temporary or rented.

Solution: InternetTiles gives you a tiny permanent plot of web real estate on a shared 200×200 pixel collaborative map. Buy once (starting at $2), upload art/GIF or link your site, and it lives forever. No maintenance, no algorithms — just your little piece of the internet that anyone can discover by exploring the map. Pure GeoCities × Million Dollar Homepage energy for the modern indie web.

Differentiator: Unlike temporary canvases (r/place) or complex/expensive NFT lands, InternetTiles offers affordable, non-crypto, permanent ownership of real web pixels on a tiny artistic 200×200 map. It combines visual art + clickable links in one place, has zero maintenance, and creates a genuinely explorable community mosaic. Simple, fun, and nostalgic while feeling fresh — the indie web’s answer to “own a little piece of the internet.”
